Team Nevertheless – Int’l Women’s Day Beer Release Party

On January 9, 2026, Team Nevertheless (truly a powerhouse group of women working across the brewing industry) took over the brewhouse for the day and crafted something special. Each year, TEAM NEVERTHELESS, a remarkable crew of women from all stretches of the brewing industry, get together and craft a new beer in celebration of International Women’s Day, with proceeds going to OUR JUSTICE.
Our own Shaena Leik led this batch, one that was built on collaboration, skill, and the belief that there’s always room (and need) for more women at the table…and on the brew deck. This year, we were thrilled to showcase: BIERESEL Dortmunder Lager. A pale lager originating from Dortmund, DE, in the late 19th century, it is famous for balancing the malty sweetness of a Helles with the crisp, bitter hop profile of a German Pilsner. The result is a smooth, firm, and refreshing beer that goes down easy and pairs nicely with…pretty much everything.
