About FamilyWise:
Parenting is hard, under any circumstances! And we can all use support. For 50 years, FamilyWise has pursued our mission: to strengthen families by promoting the safety, stability, and wellbeing of children. Our programs help families build resiliency, identify and harness their strengths, and connect to other resources. From support groups to coaching and mentorship, FamilyWise offers a range of support for families and communities to keep children safe and healthy. Our vision is a world where every child thrives.
Our participants lead. We know that families hold wisdom that systems aren’t set up to hear. The families and communities we partner with identify their own goals for safety and wellbeing. We walk alongside them as they work towards achieving their goals.
We create lasting change. We help participants build their natural support networks so that they have family, friends, and neighbors to turn to through life’s ups and downs. We help community members reflect on how they can help make parenting, and life, easier for everyone in their community. We are a leader in prevention. As the Minnesota Chapter of Prevent Child Abuse America and National Circle of Parents, FamilyWise is deeply committed to preventing child abuse before it occurs.

DUAL PURPOSE is the community outreach vehicle for Dual Citizen Brewing Co., created to turn a neighborhood brewery into a catalyst for meaningful change. Deeply rooted on both sides of the Mississippi River, we aim to provide accessible space, essential resources, and long-term partnerships to local nonprofit organizations, working to strengthen our shared community. Through intentional partnerships, and with substantial annual grants and annual community investment, we help local organizations grow, connect, and thrive. We open the taproom and gathering areas as a hub to these partners and community initiatives to remove the barriers to program delivery, fundraising, and community organizing.
Our vision is for a Twin Cities where shared purpose fuels shared progress. Where every partner, every patron, and every neighbor has the opportunity to meaningfully contribute to a more connected, equitable, and thriving community.
