OUR NONPROFIT PARTNER OF THE MONTH  /  April, 2026

Dual Citizen Brewing Company is pleased to announce Friends and Co as it’s March 2026 Dual Purpose Partner. Through the brewery’s Dual-Purpose program, Dual Citizen highlights and supports nonprofit organizations that are creating meaningful impact across the Twin Cities.Friends and Co. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1972. Friends & Co celebrates aging through community-led service that fosters meaningful connections for everyone and envisions a world where every older adult thrives in meaningful relationships and belongs to a caring, vibrant community. Friends & Co believes connection isn’t just nice to have—it’s essential for health and happiness. When older adults have regular opportunities to share stories, laughter, and friendship, it strengthens individuals, families, and entire communities.

As part of the April partnership, Dual Citizen will host Friends & Co. several nights throughout the month of April. On April 16th, Dual Citizen is hosting a special Spring Cards Making Volunteer Event at Dual Citizen. The homemade cards you make will be sent to older adults across Minnesota.

To cap of the month; On Thursday April 30th it will be a night of fun with interactive events, giveaways, and food for all those who attend.

Dual Purpose is the community outreach vehicle for Dual Citizen Brewing Co., created to turn a neighborhood brewery into a catalyst for meaningful change. Deeply rooted on both sides of the Mississippi River, we aim to provide accessible space, essential resources, and long-term partnerships to local nonprofit organizations, working to strengthen our shared community. Through intentional partnerships, and with substantial annual grants and annual community investment, we help local organizations grow, connect, and thrive. We open the taproom and gathering areas as a hub to these partners and community initiatives to remove the barriers to program delivery, fundraising, and community organizing.
Our vision is for a Twin Cities where shared purpose fuels shared progress. Where every partner, every patron, and every neighbor has the opportunity to meaningfully contribute to a more connected, equitable, and thriving community. We are a taproom and organization that serves.
