The Bicycle Alliance of Minnesota, Our Streets, Sierra Club North Star Chapter and other partners, are hosting Henry Grabar – Harvard Loeb Fellow and author of Paved Paradise – in Saint Paul on Monday, April 29th at Dual Citizen Brewing.
His book has ignited national discussion about our built environment, particularly how the prioritization of automobile parking has resulted in problems for housing development, transportation, and equity. In a city and state where transportation is the largest source of greenhouse gas emissions, local ordinances that require off-street parking have significant sustainability implications.
FREE to attend, but an RSVP as “going” on the facebook event will help us keep an eye on numbers.
